How do I get a refund for a Salam's purchase?

Generally, all charges for in-app purchases( i.e., Telegrams, Reset Swipe History, etc.) are nonrefundable, and there are no refunds or credits for partially used periods. However, we may make an exception if a refund for Salams Premium is requested within designated periods contingent on the type of Premium subscription a member has or if the laws applicable in your jurisdiction provide refunds. Please take a look at our Terms of Use for details.

Please remember that refunds are subject to approval or rejection after review. For your refund request to be reviewed, you must submit your Refund Request within 48 hours of the transaction date. If you submit your Refund Request after 48 hours, your refund will be denied.

We do not provide refunds for Resetting Swipe History or Telegrams.

The only option for getting a refund is by going through Apple or Google Play. As all payments are made through Apple and google pay, banking details are not passed onto us at Salams. They handle all billing.

If you've purchased any of our in-app products ( Premium, Telegrams, or Instant Matches) using your Apple ID, refunds are handled by Apple, not Salams. To request a refund from Apple, please follow the steps below:

1. Open your Email Application
2. Search for "Your receipt from Apple" if it's not immediately visible.
3. Tap on the receipt for the purchase you want to be refunded. (Unless you remember the date, there's only a way to tell which receipt is which if you tap it to open it, so you might end up tapping a lot...)
4. Tap Report a Problem next to the purchase you want to report. You will be redirected to Apple's problem reports page.
5. Enter your Apple ID and password when prompted.

6. Tap Choose Problem and select a problem from the menu.
7. Enter details for your problem, then tap Submit.

On Android:

If you've subscribed to Premium using your Google Play Store account:

  • If it's been less than 48 hours since you were charged, you can request a refund directly from Google by following the instructions here.
